Tyler Welch, Orthopaedic Physiotherapist & Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist

Tyler graduated with a Bachelor of Science with a Specialization in Clinical Exercise Physiology from Concordia University in 2007. He received his Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2009. He has also been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist with the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2010. Tyler is currently working towards his Diploma of Advance Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy and is also completing his credentialing in the McKenzie Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy system.

Tyler believes that exercise is medicine. He takes pride in helping people feel better, move better and perform better. His treatments involve using hands on manual therapy to restore mobility and eliminate pain, and targeted exercise to optimize function and performance.

He has spent years working along side orthopaedic surgeons helping people recover from a wide variety of surgical procedures ranging from ACL and rotator cuff repairs to major trauma. He also has years of experience as a strength coach, making athletes stronger, faster and more powerful. Tyler is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, whether they are returning to elite sport performance or simply getting back to normal life.
