Cat Muir, MPT

Practice style (Philosophy)

Catherine received her Masters in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University in Scotland. She spent the last several years working in hospitals and long-term care settings and she is now excited to continue learning and growing with the Synergy team.
Cat is queer and non-binary (using pronouns she/they) and is passionate about building a practice that supports LGBTQ+ folks in Toronto.
She has completed training in pelvic health and has a special interest in providing this care for people of all genders. Cat also treats general orthopaedic conditions. Her approach to physiotherapy uses evidence-based techniques including exercise prescription, manual techniques, and education to empower patients in reaching their goals.
Cat is happiest exploring new hiking trails, spending an evening watching Netflix, or sharing stories about her cat Rosie.
