Practice style (Philosophy)
Evelyn graduated from Queen’s University with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy following a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at Queen’s University. Previously, Evelyn worked as a Kinesiologist at a high performance centre and multidisciplinary clinic, designing exercise programs and strength and conditioning programs for patients and athletes of all levels. Recently, she completed a clinical rotation in Melbourne, Australia in orthopedic physiotherapy and on-field medical support for various sporting events. Evelyn works to empower her patients using education, manual therapy, and exercise. She believes that exercise is medicine and likes to take an evidence based approach to help her patients return to activities. She believes it’s important for her patients to understand their injury and collaborates with them to form an individualized treatment plan.
Evelyn loves to stay active by lifting weights, doing yoga, running, and playing basketball. Her next goal is completing a sprint triathlon in her hometown of Kingston!
