Practice Style (Philosophy) Graduating with academic honors from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy, Lesley has been in practice as a Registered Massage Therapist since 1996. She has worked in the fields of rehabilitation, sports medicine and performance as well as within medical facilities such as The Center for Addiction and Mental Health and the Addiction Research Foundation in Toronto. She has completed advanced certification in craniosacral therapy and is in her 5th year of osteopathic training at the Canadian College of Osteopathy in Toronto. Lesley loves helping people to understand and to work cooperatively with their own bodies. Because of this, her clinical practice has developed into an education practice where she draws of more than 20 years of experience in the fields of bodywork, somatics, and the expressive arts. In addition to teaching privately she’s been a guest lecturer for graduate and undergraduate classes at the University of Guelph School of English and Theatre Studies, Humber College for the Performing Arts and Halliburton School of the Arts. Unique Facts Lesley grew up on Lake Superior and has lived in Toronto for more than 20 years. She is also an artist and poet/writer and loves drawing anatomy – focusing her creative work around learning and expressing the nature of the body.
