Rachel Varga

Practice style (Philosophy)

Rachel graduated from the University of Toronto with a Master of Science in Physical Therapy after receiving a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Specialization in Kinesiology at Western University. Prior to pursuing Physical Therapy, Rachel gained professional experience working as a Registered Kinesiologist. Growing up as a competitive athlete, it was very early on that Rachel developed an extensive appreciation for the human body and its capabilities with movement and exercise. This was the primary driver for Rachel to pursue orthopaedic physical therapy, with endless goals of further education in this area of practice. Rachel has completed her level 3’s in the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal program with the Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and has received certification in dry needling, soft tissue release, kinesiotaping, and the Mulligan concept techniques. Rachel strongly believes in a holistic and patient-centred approach to care, that involves a combination of evidence-based manual therapy, soft tissue work, exercise and education, all built upon the foundation of her patient’s goals.
