Dr. Raza Awan

Practice style (Philosophy)

Dr. Awan believes it’s fundamentally important to involve his patients in the decision-making process. Injury prevention is equally as important as treatment so he takes time to investigate any underlying issues in order to get the best results. This method helps treat injuries that weren’t properly treated in the past and it also helps empower the patients in their recovery. Much like it takes a village to raise a child, it takes a skilled team of rehabilitation professionals to heal a complex injury. Dr. Awan has surrounded himself with an amazing team at Synergy, a team that takes a similar strategic yet holistic approach to medicine.

Unique Facts

Dr. Awan’s favourite book is the Alchemist. He’s a hand drummer (tabla, samba, djembe) and a former trumpet player. He has his Pilates teacher certification. He’s a smoothie aficionado and a self-diagnosed foodie.
