I went in with a shoulder issue (and a lot of pain and discomfort) and no idea why or what was wrong, and I came out with a clear diagnosis, helpful explanation of my situation, immediate relief from pain, a helpful at-home treatment plan, and scheduled follow ups to ensure that my recovery was complete. Courtney is a great physiotherapist, takes the time to understand your medical issues, provides appropriate therapies, demonstrates exercises to do and provides take-home exercises. The dry-needling therapy was done with expertise and minimal pain.DJ & Claire at reception were very helpful and get to know you on a first name basis. Have been coming to Synergy for more than a year now and service is always execellent. Thank-you.

I had a wonderful experience with Agnes and the clinic. She helped me so much with my blocked duct. I finally felt real relief after seeing her, and more importantly, she gave me clear guidance on how to manage it moving forward.Her follow-up email was incredibly detailed and thoughtful, which made me feel very supported even after the session. You can tell she truly cares about her patients.The clinic itself is very clean and comfortable, and the front desk staff are so kind and welcoming. I had issues with my rotator cuff and received excellent care at Synergy. My physiotherapist Kiley is wonderful! The clinic is organized and well-run. Definitely five stars!

This is my first time ever having to see a physiotherapist. Had a bad cycling injury in summer 2025 and started at Synergy after surgery. Granted I have nothing to compare it to but I have nothing but good things to say about Synergy. I am seeing Jesse Awenus for physio and Danica for massage. They always are really good about explaining what is going on and answering questions about my bones and muscles. Booking is easy and the staff are professional. Really nothing bad to say about this place. It’s intimidating needing physio for the first time but Synergy has made it really positive. Would highly recommend.

Great clinic with an excellent team. DJ at reception is friendly and very helpful with scheduling appointments at times that work for me. Jesse is an outstanding physiotherapist, especially for complex spine-related issues. He takes an holistic approach, explains everything clearly, and sets honest expectations. I actually go out of my way to visit this clinic because the care is that good. Highly recommend Synergy Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Synergy, and more specifically Jesse, came highly recommended by my family doctor who is also a Sports Med doc. I have been treated by Jesse for bilateral frozen shoulder over the last few years. His knowledge of and treatment for this awful injury has helped me recover well ahead of schedule on both occasions. From physical therapy, to a solid rehab program, and patience answering my many questions, I’m grateful to have Jesse there to get me back to 100 percent. Highly recommend Jesse.

Early days, but I've really enjoyed working with Jarod at Synergy Sports so far. He's developed a very clear and easy-to-follow treatment plan built around my specific needs and goals, has a great ability to break down individual exercises to help get the techniques just right, and follows up quickly and thoroughly with additional resources (videos and descriptions of particularly tricky and/or important exercises).

Her style reflects her athletic background, adding an empathetic touch to her treatments. Since my first review, she has moved onto her next life adventure, and I wish her well. Still, my positive experience with Synergy continue onward.Kiley Praught is passionate, knowledgeable and intuitive with her treatments. I appreciate her thoughtful care plans, emphasis on restoring function, and helping her clients achieve other exercise goals. I would definitely work with her again.

Attentive and friendly staff, knowledgable and attentive to customer needs

Me and my partner have both been seeing Mitch for probably close to a year now for various injuries and he's the best! He's very knowledgeable and intuitive and also just a very kind and caring physio. The front desk staff are also really great.

Angeline's massage felt very good, with good pressure but not too much. She also is very knowledgeable about the body and gave me an exercise for my problem. Very happy to have found her.

I've been seeing Kylie at the Danforth location for a number of months. Initially starting with a shoulder issue and has continued on as I threw my back out in December. She has really helped me keep my body in good condition for my often very physically demanding job that requires consistency. Also, she is very detailed with her explanations, and offers great advice! Would highly recommend!

I saw Kylie for a hip flexor/groin injury after a bike accident. She assessed me, and set up a progressive plan. I appreciated how she explained everything and was generally so lovely. About ten weeks of diligently doing my exercises I’m as good as new. Thank you Kylie!

Brilliant, caring, expert...Synergy is amazing. Courtney Mahoney, my physiotherapist, is all these things. She listens to what's going on, asks questions. Feeling heard when you're in pain is really important - sometimes as important as the "fixes". We're trying all sorts of things, and I think that openness to exploring the problem is refreshingly honest. I can't believe the extra lengths they go in supporting patients - phoning other providers, advice on navigating the system. Courtney has a deep knowledge base, which has given me lots of tools to help me manage and work though strength and tightness issues as well. The more intensive interventions are a huge relief as well. I cannot recommend Synergy, and Courtney, highly enough.

Everyone is so amazing and so friendly! I am new to physio and I felt so comfortable from the beginning and all my questions and concerns were answered with professional and informative answers. Big shoutout to Courtney, she is truly the best!

I would highly recommend anyone to Synergy Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation. I suffered an ankle injury a few weeks before a backpacking trip and started Physiotherapy treatment with Courtney. Courtney was outstanding - She identified the type of injury and provided me with an excellent treatment plan. The exercises she showed me helped my healing process and allowed me to gain my strength back. Courtney is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from her about the science behind my injury, which was a huge plus. Thanks again to Courtney - My ankle was healed up for my trip!

This is an excellent clinic - I’ve had very positive results with Jesse treating a few persistent neck and shoulder issues that I wasn’t able to resolve elsewhere. Speaking from experience, I have sought treatment with a few other clinics over the years and my experience at synergy has been exceptional. The environment is also clean and extremely well run. I highly recommend this clinic.

A year ago my physiatrist referred me to Synergy for treatment of peripheral neuropathy in my toes and feet. For the first three months my physiotherapist, Britanny Kafka, provided careful monitoring and treatment of my symptoms, alleviating much of the pain and tingling which I was experiencing. After Britanny moved to Ottawa I switched to her colleague, Sam Yiu. Since returning to training for competitive sculling Sam and I decided to take my physiotherapy session to a new level. We adopted a more aggressive approach to my strength and conditioning work. Sam puts me through the paces once every two weeks with a variety of exercises targeted to improve proprioception, strength, and range of motion of my glutes, hamstrings, quads and core. These areas are key to develop the speed, power, and good sculling technique to win masters races. I highly recommend Synergy and its fine staff to anyone in need of physiotherapy.

Angelyn is such a gem to see every time I come in for treatment. She’s incredibly professional, attentive, and knowledgeable always taking the time to ensure I’m comfortable and well-informed throughout each session. I often experience migraines and after trying the Myofascial treatment for the first time with Angelyn, it alleviated a tremendous amount of built-up pressure. She's very experienced in her line of work, and her calm, caring approach makes every visit a great experience. The space is always clean and inviting, and the receptionist is lovely to deal with friendly, organized, and always on top of billing. You’ll leave feeling truly rejuvenated and well taken care of here! Great location!

I would highly recommend Synergy Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation! My experience has been with their east end location. The front desk staff are welcoming, friendly, and helpful. I have worked with two of their physiotherapists - Rachel (who has since left) and Courtney and I am incredibly happy with the therapy I received/have been receiving. I found both Rachel and Courtney to be very knowledgeable, skilled, patient, friendly, and personable. Their treatments are very effective - it is incredible how much improvement I've seen with my tennis elbow since coming to Synergy! I'm very grateful for the progress that's been made and look forward to getting additional support with other areas of concern in the future.

Kiley did great job to treat my shoulder , She located the source of the pain after several tests, then began treatment and gave me exercises to do while I'm at home . I would like to thank her for her efforts and recommend everyone to visit this center at Danforth Ave and woodbi⁶.
