Sam graduated from the University of Toronto receiving both a Masters’s degree in Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy. He has clinical experience working with a diverse patient population, which includes treating individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and multi-system conditions. Prior to receiving his Masters’s degrees, Sam graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia. During his undergraduate and graduate years, Sam worked as a strength & conditioning trainer and teaching assistant.

Having trained as a dual PT & OT clinician, Sam’s treatment philosophy not only emphasizes restoring physical health but also optimizing an individual’s performance in their self-care, productivity, and leisure. He strongly believes in patient education and helping enable his clients to take an active role in their rehabilitation. Whether you are an older adult trying to maintain your day to day mobility or a high school athlete trying to maximize your athletic potential or anything in between, Sam will work collaboratively with you to develop an individualized treatment plan to help meet your personal goals.

Unique Facts

Sam has always had a keen interest in sports and maintaining an active lifestyle. Sam grew up primarily playing volleyball and basketball and continues to play these sports to this day. On a daily basis, Sam enjoys swimming, stretching, and weightlifting. When he gets the chance to get outdoors, Sam also enjoys slacklining, hiking, and camping. When not doing physical activity, he enjoys listening to podcasts and cooking.
