Benjamin Hanlon
Practice style (Philosophy)
Benjamin is a Registered Massage Therapist and graduate of the Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. His approach blends evidence-informed care with a calm, intuitive treatment style, helping clients reduce pain, improve movement, and reconnect with their bodies in a way that feels sustainable and empowering. Ben believes massage therapy is most effective when treatment is collaborative. Every session is tailored to the individual, whether you’re recovering from an injury, managing chronic tension, preparing for an athletic event, adapting to the physical demands of work, or simply making time for self-care. His treatments are known for their firm, rhythmic, and grounding flow, combining therapeutic techniques with a calming pace that encourages both physical and nervous system relaxation. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and transgender therapist, Ben is passionate about creating a welcoming, affirming environment where every client feels safe, respected, and supported. He has a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients and providing compassionate care throughout gender-affirming journeys, including pre- and post-top surgery rehabilitation. His goal is to ensure every person who walks through the door feels comfortable receiving the care they deserve. Outside the treatment room, Ben is an artist, designer, and avid gym-goer whose creative background continues to shape his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to care. He enjoys helping people return to the hobbies, sports, and everyday activities that make them feel most like themselves.
